in A . asymmetric

The asymmetrical in-ground luminaire stands out with the precise workmanship of its black galvanized stainless steel frame that encompasses the tinted glass inserted flush with the surface. This combination of muted colours makes it almost imperceptible on the ground, where it lets trees and shrubs in unpaved areas appear in the right light instead. The version with stainless steel cover frame with clear glass gives the luminaire a more dominant role.

Caring & Useful information

Our luminaires have been designed to do their job for many years. But we need a little help from you to make sure that they don't lose their looks as the years go by and that they will continue to bring you pleasure for a long time! Please clean your IP44.DE luminaires regularly. And please also remember that every material and every environment needs a different kind of care.

Application areas

All environments differ. The same goes for the material properties of our luminaires. Please consult us if you intend to use our products near the coast or in the vicinity of a swimming pool. Salt or chlorine particles in the air would make life very difficult for our luminaires.

Condensation

High humidity levels or great fluctuations in temperature, climatic conditions which normally occur in spring and autumn, can cause condensation in the glass housing. This does not indicate a flaw in the product but is a natural consequence of the physical properties of water. The best way to deal with condensation is simply to leave the luminaire switched on for a while so that the condensation can dry out.

Caring for stainless steel brushed

Stainless steel has a unique property: if the surface is damaged, the so-called passive coating heals itself automatically when exposed to oxygen. But this protection mechanism only works as long as no dirt has settled on the surface. Grinding dust, metal chippings and splashes of lime and mortar can penetrate the passive coating and cause rusty stains that can't be removed later on. Please therefore remove any soiling of this kind immediately. For routine care, it is sufficient if you regularly remove dirt and impurities from the surface of your luminaire. Please use a special stainless steel cleaner for brushed stainless steel surfaces.
